Dear Colleague
IEEC First CircularDeadlines
In 2016 we started to form a scientific community for developing our environmental education inside and outside schools, universities, urban and rural areas, and national parks. The presentations and articlles of IEEC2016 can be found here:

In 2015, countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In 2016, the Paris Agreement on climate change entered into force, addressing the need to limit the rise of global temperatures. Governments, businesses and civil society are mobilizing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030.
The other challenge of environmental education is Biodiversity Education. Some of the major challenges to implementing the Convention on Biological Diversity and promoting sustainable development are:
- Meeting the increasing demand for biological resources caused by population growth and increased consumption, while considering the long-term consequences of our actions.
- Increasing our capacity to document and understand biodiversity, its value, and threats to it. (https://www.cbd.int/convention/guide/default.shtml?id=next)
